Bio, Press & Performances

The Christian Dewild Band (CDB) grew out of Christian performing solo in coffee shops in the Sacramento area. In 2006, drummer/percussionist Mike Pavisich joined Christian and recently, Stephen Coronado rounded out the lineup on bass guitar. The CDB set list is a mix of covers by Johnny Cash, Black Crowes and The Rolling Stones to name a few, as well as classic blues icons such as Son House, Robert Johnson, and John Lee Hooker. But it’s the originals that set the CDB apart with their unique style of southern/delta style blues. With the combination of Christian’s warm raspy voice, acoustic and electric guitars, harmonica and ‘old soul’ lyrics, Christian and the band blend together a raw and vintage sound that’s upbeat and infused with an energy that has them winning new fans at every performance with original songs such as “Preacher Man’, “Whisky Mend” and a crowd favorite “Down”.
The Christian DeWild Band's first album as a band "Little Devil" was released October 21st 2017. Songs included on the album are Preacher Man, Needle And Thread, Wicked Things, Won't Hurt Me Again, Layers and Malia's Song.
